Old style layout was a table width 100% with 4 cells: [ logo ] [ title ] [ menu ] [ content ] logo / menu had a fixed width, and logo / title had a fixed height. Because the table width was 100%, the table nicely filled the whole width of the browser, with title and content adjusting automatically. I've tried to emulate this in css using a 4 div layout, and I can create the divs and get them in the right places, but I can't seem to find the css I need to make the title / content divs extend to the correct widths and heights. If I set the widths to 100%, it uses 100% of the parent element, which is the whole page. Should I be wrapping the logo / menu divs in a "left" div and the title / content divs in a "right" div, or what? Denis |
