True, but I have to change newsgroup servers anyway (actually, I have,
but have been using ComCast as a backup).

One of the main reasons I stayed with ComCast is because they have the
newsgroups. Without that, there's no reason not to switch.

Verizon does not carry the alt* newsgroups, either. They dumped them in
July or so, and that was the last straw for me.
